| Jeane Dixon Museum and
Library tells the story of one of the most remarkable
women of the 20th Century.
Following Dixon's passing in
1997, her family entrusted the bulk of her estate to a close
friend and business associate, Leo M. Bernstein. Her personal
possessions, furnishings, and personal and professional
papers, placed in storage for several years, are now on
exhibit at the Museum and Library. They chronicle her life as
a psychic, devout Catholic, humanitarian, real estate
executive, presidential advisor, animal lover, and devoted
wife.
In developing the Jeane Dixon
Museum and Library, the Wayside Foundation of American History
and Arts sought to interpret Jeane's life and accomplishments
as objectively as possible. The result is a thorough
description of Mrs. Dixon's endeavors but the museum visitor
himself decides their validity and impact.
Visitors to the Jeane Dixon
Museum and Library can examine Jeane's life with scrapbooks,
photo essays, and audio clips, while soothing music adds to
the ethereal ambiance. We predict that visitors will also be
intrigued when they view Jeane's handwritten notes in the
margins of her book on Nostradamus, who seemed to anticipate
the events of September 11, 2001.
